In some cases, you may want to assign only specific measures of a MuseScore file to your class. You can do this by specifying the beginning and ending measures of the assignment. You do not need to enter anything if you wish to assign all the measures.
Pickup measures are also included by default if you leave the starting measure blank and in fact should be left blank for best results.
After selecting attachments you will see these options at the bottom of the page when creating an AutoGrade assignment.
Selecting Ending Measures
The ending measure you select will tell AutoGrade to assess everything presented through the measure before it. This is intended to mimic the convention of ending on beat one of the last measure of a section you rehearse with an ensemble.
Ties
If the starting measure includes a first note that is tied to from a previous note, that note is not assessed and assessment begins on the first note that begins in the assigned section. If a note ties into a measure outside of the selected measure, the note will only be assessed through the selected measures.
