Using MuseScore Files in AutoGrade Assignments

Each AutoGrade assignment is driven by a singular MuseScore file which all students listed on the assignment will use. You can use a MuseScore file you currently have uploaded to your MuseClass My Library or your Organization's Library.

Assignments can be created from My Library directly by selecting a file, or from Classes > Assignments by hitting the 'Create Assignment' button.

Cleaning Up MuseScore files after Import from MusicXML

In many cases you may want to bring in content you have created in other notation software into MuseClass to use with AutoGrade. You will want to export MusicXML from the notation program you are using and import it into MuseScore as your first step.

Once imported you may need to make some edits to the file for best results with AutoGrade first. Our Video Tutorials section is a great resource for seeing how to make edits to your MuseScore file to correct common problems that can occur in MusicXML imports into MuseScore.
